St. Johns College – Cardiff.

St Johns College Cardiff benefited massively from the use of the independent wall systems in their classrooms to prevent sound traveling into the surrounding offices.

Echo/Reverberation panels for Rostrum Ltd

One of Rostrum’s meeting rooms had problems with Reverberation from hard surfaces in the room, The Panels allowed the sound to be absorbed from the soft surface on the top layer of the panels therefor eliminating majority of the echo from the office.

Soundproofing Floating Floor Upgrade

This system requires a lift to the flooring however is a great overall system to reduce both impact and airborne noise. The HD Foam allows vibrational noise to be reduced adding the layer of Techsound 50 offers a great attenuation for airborne noise.

We also ensure that minimal flanking occurs by adding a perimeter strip surrounding the new flooring system.

 


Genie Clips

Genie Clips

Genie clips are a great overall compromise to reduce a good overall level of airborne noise attenuation. Impact noise is reduced because of the rubber mountings on the clip which reduce transmission noise such as footfall and lower frequencies.

Independent Ceiling Upgrade

Independent ceiling upgrade:

This system is our most effective system to reduce both impact and airborne noise as the existing ceiling system is isolated, again without any direct contact to the existing ceiling, vibration noise such as footfall and dropping objects is significantly reduced. Also airborne attenuation is significantly increased.

Independent Wall System

Independent wall system

This system is our most installed system, boasting a great overall level of airborne and impact attenuation As this system is installed infront of the existing wall it achieves a high level of noise reduction as the existing wall is isolated.

We isolate the existing wall by creating an air gap which plays a vital role in reducing noise. Filled then with a High Density acoustic quilt and two layers of our specialist board this system is able to reduce noise by approximately 70%**

HS20 System

HS20 Wall Upgrade

This system is available to customers where space is an issue. We bond a specialist matting to the wall using a super spray adhesive without the use of Screws or drilling into the wall. This enables any vibrational noise to be reduced naturally through the high density acoustic panel matting.

Once bonded to the wall we then add two layers of specialist boarding ensuring all joints are sealed to increase the performance.
